Crowned 2023 County Distance Champions

Newquay Cormorants have been crowned the 2023 Cornwall County Distance Champions!

Ten swimmers from the Cormorants entered the Cornwall County Championships distance events (800m & 1500m). After placing at least one swimmer in the top three of every age group, we were crowned County Champions at the Distance events.

There were a number of significant personal best times which were a reward for the continued hard work and dedication of the swimmers. Two of our swimmers recorded times of National significance placing them at number 10 and number 11 on the British rankings.
