Inter Club Gala Champtions 2023!

On 14th January 2023, Newquay Cormorants emerged victorious at the Inter-club Championships.

We were the nominated host club for the County Junior Interclub competition. This competition is open to all Cornish clubs and is for swimmers aged 12 years and under and comprises a mixture of individual and team races.

Having won last year the trophy was ours to defend and the Club Juniors Coach Sue Price was instrumental in selecting a team that was both strong but also inclusive in order to give as many swimmers as possible the chance to partake in a really enjoyable gala. I am happy to say that we won the meet by more than 20 points and the deafening noise in the pool as the kids cheered each other on was incredible!
