South West Regionals 2023 Success!

Just when you thought we’d stopped talking about Regionals….😱🏊♀️🏊🏊♂️
Our Head Coach report is in…
‘The South West Regional Swimming Championships, held over 3 weekends in April and May gave Cormorants swimmers the opportunity to compete against some of the best swimmers in GB.
We had a superb 13 swimmers qualify of which 12 competed.
There were some fantastic performances across the board with 1 swimmer winning multiple Regional titles, 6 swimmers qualifying for an incredible 17 finals between them and 7 further medals.
This tally far exceeded any other club in Cornwall and is an amazing achievement for such a small club, reflecting the talent and commitment of Newquay swimmers’. - Ian🏊♂️🏊🏊♀️🏊♂️🏊🏊♀
