Timmy Jones Competes at Nationals in Sheffield

Our incredible Timmy recently competed at Ponds Forge International Swimming Centre for the English National Meet where he had qualified for an incredible 8 events! Unfortunately a freak accident playing school sports meant Timmy had a facial fracture keeping him out of the water for 6 weeks, hampering his preparation. Nevertheless, with only 3 weeks of training prior to racing, Timmy had some great swims recording a number of personal bests and qualifying for finals in both the 100 freestyle and 200 butterfly. Timmy we are so proud of everything you’ve achieved. Being out of the pool for so long was tough but you came back fighting. Your resilience and determination shon through and you evidenced your complete commitment to always doing your best! What an inspiration!
